QUINCY, Mass. – April 7, 2021
– Granite Telecommunications, a $1.6 billion provider of communications services
to multilocation businesses and government agencies,
today announced that Granite
Gives Back, its non-profit organization, is
introducing its “Spring Into Action” initiative as part of its Granite Gives
Back Wellness 2021 program.
Granite
Gives Back Wellness 2021 is a program that seeks to uplift
mental, emotional and economic health by connecting Granite teammates with each
other and local businesses and community resources.
The “Spring Into
Action” initiative, held during the month of April 2021, focuses on physical
activity for Granite teammates.
“As part of our commitment to
supporting charitable organizations through our Granite Gives Back Wellness
2021 program, we’re encouraging our employees to ‘spring into action’ and get
out and moving this April by supporting fun runs and walks to raise funds for
worthy community causes,” said Granite CEO Rob Hale.
As part of the effort, Granite will be
supporting Children’s
Home Society of Florida and their virtual Heroes 5K
on April 24 and the Eversource
Virtual Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital on June 13.
In addition to these two events,
Granite Gives Back will be sharing information with Granite teammates on
healthcare provider benefits and free virtual fitness classes in yoga, strength
training and cardio.
